PRIVACY POLICY

Your videos stay on your device

PureVisual Comparator is a local-first utility operated by Hartmann. It does not require an account, sign-in, cloud sync, or a connection to a remote service to compare local videos.

Information we collect

We do not collect, log, sell, rent, profile, or store personal information through normal use of the Application. We do not collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or browsing activity.

Video access

Videos are selected by you through the Android system picker. The Application only accesses the local files you explicitly choose for comparison. Those files are processed locally on your device.

Local processing

Video comparison, file-detail inspection, favorites, comparison history, filters, and interface preferences are handled locally on your device. Hartmann does not receive these items on its servers.

Data sharing

Because we do not collect personal information through normal app use, we do not share personal data with third parties. The Application does not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics services for behavioral tracking.

DATA RETENTION

No server-side retention

Hartmann does not retain personal information or user video data on company servers because the Application does not collect or upload such data. Any locally created app information remains on your own device for as long as you choose to keep it there.

DATA DELETION

You can remove local data

Because Hartmann does not hold your personal data on remote systems, there is no server-side account or personal-data record to delete. You can remove local app data by using the Application's clear-data controls, clearing app storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the Application.

Data security

The Application is designed to minimize data exposure by keeping normal use local to your device. No system can guarantee absolute security, but limiting collection and avoiding remote storage materially reduces the amount of information exposed to external systems.

Children

The Application is not directed to children under 13, or any higher minimum age required by applicable law. Hartmann does not knowingly collect personal information from children through normal use of the Application.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Application or legal requirements change. Any updated version will be published with a revised effective date.
